Gaya Centre Hotel is a 260-room 3-star on the waterfront beside Suria Sabah mall. Jesselton Point and Gaya Street are both about 600 metres away, which makes it one of the best-placed cheap hotels in the city for early island boats and the Sunday market. There's a small gym and the G Cafe for breakfast, but no pool, and the rooms are older.
