What it is
Sheraton Kota Kinabalu opened in December 2025 on Jalan Albert Kwok in Kampung Air, across from Centre Point Sabah and a few minutes' walk from the waterfront and Warisan Square. It has 307 rooms and suites, a rooftop infinity pool with views over Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, the Shine Spa, a 24-hour gym, several restaurants and a 703 sq m ballroom. Parking is charged. There's no airport shuttle; the airport is about 15 minutes. Opening rates were around RM600 to RM650.

About 15 minutes by car (8.2 km), depending on traffic. Grab and taxis are easy at KKIA, or ask us to arrange a pickup.
Sheraton or Le Meridien?
Both are Marriott 5-stars in the CBD. The Sheraton is new, taller and has the rooftop infinity pool; Le Meridien is older, right on the waterfront opposite the Filipino Market. Ask us which has the better rate for your dates.
Is parking free at the Sheraton?
No, it's charged, about RM50 a day.
